In 2025, AES Galabovo TPP produced the largest amount of electricity in the last three years. Over the past 12 months, the two units of the coal-fired power plant generated 2,618,000 MWh, which is equal to 7% of the country's total electricity consumption.

In December alone, the plant generated 256,000 MWh of electricity for Bulgarian consumers, covering 7% of the country's total electricity consumption during that month.

In 2025, the Sveti Nikola wind farm, owned by AES Bulgaria, provided 284,369 MWh of clean energy. In December, the park, which is the largest in the country, produced 36,081 MWh.
