With a view to the sustainable development of Stara Zagora region and taking into account the key importance of attracting new investments that create quality jobs, the Ministry of Energy will accept investment intentions of large enterprises for the region until 6 November 2023. The deadline is linked to the negotiation process with the European Commission on just transition plans.

The Ministry of Energy emphasises that the investment intentions are indicative and non-binding for both the state and the companies, and in no way binding on the possibility or amount of funding from the Just Transition Fund.
