Kozloduy NPP has received the highest possible rating on the scale of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) - Category A. The categorisation of all nuclear power plants that are members of the Association is carried out annually on the basis of a system of specific criteria defined by WANO, which reflect the operational safety, the level of interaction and the provision of support within the organisation.

The team of experts who prepared the analysis confirmed that Kozloduy NPP performed at a maximum level in all the indicators considered.
