On January 3^rd, in the presence of the Ministers of Energy of Bulgaria and Turkey at the Council of Ministers was signed an agreement through which Bulgargaz EAD gets access to the gas transmission infrastructure of the Turkish state energy company Botas. In addition to the gas pipelines, these are five LNG terminals that the Turkish company has at its disposal.

The agreement has a term of 13 years. It provides for the transfer of 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year between the two countries during this period.
